About our crew...
There's a huge range of backgrounds in the Intellitix team. From tour promoters and ticketers to box office staff, software wizards and financial leaders. We even have a real life rocket scientist! Below is a little information about some of our key staff.
A seasoned concert promoter and live event professional, Serge has promoted thousands of events across three continents over a 35-year career, including 20 years within the ticketing industry. Having also established Ticketpro - Central and Eastern Europe's first computerized ticketing company - on four continents, Serge brings an expert knowledge of the live event and ticketing environment.
Cam’s background in petrol and oil have served him well in the equally combustible area of a festival field 10 minutes before doors open! One of Intellitix’s most respected members of staff, he straddles the tech divide by being both a hardcore coder and responsible for finding and maintaining the company’s North American clients. Cam is also a top-level football umpire and rarely found without his trademark trilby hat.
Managing ticketing issues, creating show audits and deploying access control systems, Barna has over 10 years experience with live stage productions. With a background in coding and IT systems that makes cashless payment a natural fit, Barna is a key figure in ticketing in the Central and Eastern European region. His barcode-based, analogue access control system has been used worldwide, securing millions of dollars for world class productions such as Madonna, U2, Shakira, Deep Purple, and many more.
With 11 years of experience in the event management industry, Isabelle has a mix of skills in logistics, live stage production, staff management and more. The former assistant-director of two venues in Canada, Isabelle is generally involved in all North American deployments for Intellitix. After being Logistics Manager for the company, she is now Assistant to the CEO of the Intellitix Group and managing the operations and business development for the Canadian territory.
Montreal-born Alex gained a university degree in marketing (BBA) from UQTR. After beginning his working life in the wood industry – where he was made vice president of his firm after just one year – he was sidetracked by the entertainment business in 2008 at the Festival d'été de Beloeil. Alex has worked full time for Intellitix since 2011, and is renowned for his knowledge of networks and hardware configuration, in addition to developing business for the North American team.
An established production manager Tamás’ (Tomi’s) credentials include over 400 shows at the Budapest Arena in Hungary, with shows including AC/DC, Kylie Minogue, Sting, BB King and Pink. The former organizing director of the Hungarian Boxing Association. Tomi has extensive experience in staff and crowd management and venue operations. A stalwart of any European Intellitixoperation, Tomi brings a plethora of necessary skills to our deployments.
Ian joined Intellitix from Last Second Tickets where he held the position of Head of Music. With 15 years experience in the music industry, Ian began his career at BMG followed by positions as product/ label manager at V2, Universal and the seminal Berlin based-indie !K7. As well as having formed and sold an artist management company, Ian has also guided the artist relations strategy for Peavey Electronics. His endorsement signings include Mumford & Sons, The xx, Peter Hook and The Vaccines amongst many others.
Prior to launching our Australian office in November 2012, Dion worked as Business Development Director of Ticketek and was a Senior Consultant at Coffey International. With experience in managing multi million dollar venue and live event projects, Dion also remains a director of Turnkey Management Group, specializing in providing strategic and tactical support to the event and venue industry.
Burt has 20 years experience working in both the record and live music industries. Prior to starting at Intellitix in January 2012, he worked as Marketing Director for AEG Live Sweden. Before this he had an extensive career at Sony BMG as Label Manager spanning 15 years. Burt now oversees the business development for Intellitix in the Nordic Region.
Sahara Herald Shepherd
Born and raised in Brisbane, Sahara started booking venues while studying at the University of Queensland before moving to Sydney in 1994 and beginning work on the Big Day Out as National Event Coordinator. Sahara has also dedicated time to numerous fund raising projects including co producing the Legs 11 series of concerts amongst other events. Sahara brings her wealth of festival experience to the Australian office launched in 2012 and is a key figure for the company Down Under.
Dominique de LaBruère Toth
Almost all Intellitix staff have a background in international events and Dominique is no exception. She began her career as a security agent for professional tennis players then as a crowd management specialist for events/festivals such as Osheaga and Metallica. From 2008, she was project manager for Titanic:The Exhibition as well as Bodies: The Exhibition throughout Canada, and then toured with Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures for two years in Europe. Dominique is integral in advancing our North American events and runs the company’s Montreal HQ.
Nadia joined Intellitix in September 2013 to help manage the back office functions around the company’s growth. A chartered accountant with more than a decade of experience in both large and small firms, Nadia’s previous employers have included Standard Life Canada and Deloitte & Touche…in short, we know our invoices are in safe hands!
With a degree in electrical engineering, Pier-Yves has been part of the Intellitix technical team since early 2013. Before Intellitix, PY mainly worked in the data mining industry as an embedded system designer and web developer. An enormous interest in the technological world saw him develop a wide skillset that combines electronics and software.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Victor’s life has always been on stage or backstage. Over the years, he has learned how to manage large projects with matching budgets, and developed skills in regards to the logistics of these large events as well as crowd management having occupied the role of Site Coordinator, Production Manager and Project Manager for new markets. His Touring experience in more than 65 countries is providing Intellitix with International Management especially for the Latin Market.When not on the phone, you'll probably find him leaving on a Cargo Plane, strolling around book stores, or trying the latest technology on rain jackets.
Eric is passionate about how new technology can connect people and enhance real world experiences. He has a passion for growing early-stage technology companies, and has a knack for business development, sales, and managing high-performing teams. In a past life, Eric was a Lecturer at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario where he taught a foundations of business course. When he’s not hustling for Intellitix, you’ll probably find him on a plane, discovering the newest craft beer, or blowing off steam at the closest Crossfit box.
